A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Benjamin Gyewu-Appiah better known as Ben Gazie, has described the Vice President of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a gem.
According to him, the enormous digitalization agenda by the Vice President has been commended by Senegal and described as worth emulating.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show he noted that Dr. Bawumia has proven himself beyond reasonable doubt that his competence is unmatched- as he has used his intellect and experience to make the work easier for the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“I went to pick some officials at the Airport who were coming from Senegal to meet officials at the Trade and Industry ministry and according to them, they are very happy whenever they see a Ghanaian in their country. They explained that it’s because of the kind of transformation Ghana has had within the last six years, and they have decided to learn from us- especially the One District, One Factory Policy of which they will want to implement the same policy in their country”, he said.
He went further to say that “secondly is the digitalization agenda by the Vice President. They really commended him and that’s exactly what as citizens we should be doing. We are lucky to have a President who has ensured there’s constant electricity supply, everyone at all has access to Senior High education, the building of the airport; nobody ever thought a President would build such an airport in Tamale”.
