2024 Election Is A Contest Between Policy And Insults- Alfred Kumi

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team, Alfred Ababio Kumi, has made a bold statement regarding the 2024 Ghanaian elections.

According to Adenta Kumi, history will remember this election as a contest between policy and insults, with the NPP’s Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia focusing on policy and the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) John Dramani Mahama resorting to insults.

He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s campaign is centered around his policy achievements and plans for the future, including introducing a credit scoring system, maintaining the nurses and teachers trainee allowance, continuing free Senior High School (SHS) education, and building more hostels in tertiary institutions.

Additionally, Dr. Bawumia aims to reduce electricity bills and promote solar energy.

In contrast, Kumi accused President Mahama of relying on insults rather than substantive policy discussions. This, he believes, highlights the stark difference between the two parties’ approaches to governance.

During an interview on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio, with Kwaku Dawuro, Adenta Kumi reassured NPP supporters that he never left the party and has now returned from supporting Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the flag bearer of the Movement For Change.

He urged Ghanaians and former NPP members to rejoin the party, citing Dr. Bawumia’s vision and the NPP’s welcoming stance.
