NDC Profits From Poverty And Ignorance And That’s Why They Resist Against Gov’t’s Pro-Poor Policies- Kusi Boafo

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of the Public Sector Reforms, Kusi Boafo has asserted that the NDC is a party that profits from poverty and ignorance.

According to him, this is the reason for which the NDC has always resisted any pro-poor policies and interventions from the NPP government- because they know Ghanaians will begin wise and they can no longer capitalize on their poverty to enrich themselves.

He explained that this is the reason for which NDC only wins elections in areas where the electorates are in abject poverty and ignorant. This was confirmed by the host Kwaku Dawuro, who noted that in 2026, out of 72 polling stations that had universities and tertiary institutions, NPP won 69 only for the NDC to win the election in three polling stations only.

He spoke on Movement In The Morning show on Movement / Wontumi Radio

“NPP has really worked hard…According to a report from World Bank, NPP has contributed 70% of Ghana’s GDP since independence of which the NDC has only contributed 26.9%. NPP has contributed about $50. 1Billion of Ghana’s $72. 1Billion GDP, whiles the NDC hasn’t made any contribution up to 20%..”, he said.

Stressing that the major facelifts including social interventions and pro-poor programs in Ghana were all introduced by the NPP.
