Deputy Director of Protocol for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Frimpong, has noted that the party should be able to manage their utterances after the elections is the problem.
According to him, whoever emerges winner of the flagbearer race, should note that they need the other aspirants on board to ensure that the party wins the 2024 elections.
He spoke on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio.
“It will be a disservice to any candidate that wins the internal elections and decides to mock the other candidates. Because whatever been the case, we need everybody’s contribution to win the 2024 elections…The internal election is not the problem…but how we are able to manage the aftermath of the elections, is what will determine whether or not, we will be able to break-the-eight jinx…. you’ve won the election…you can be happy and jubilate but do that in moderation…it shouldn’t be in the extreme…”, he told Kwaku Dawuro.
He disclosed that Kennedy Agyapong is a solid figure in the central region that the party will need. Likewise, the other nine candidates also have areas where they are solid figures and as such, can help the goverment win the election.
