Ghana’s Presidential advisor on Health, Dr. Anthony Nsia Asare has noted that by end of President Akufo-Addo’s second tenure, about 90 out of the agenda 111 will be completed.
According to him, 86 of the hospital projects had already begun.
“We have 8 zones, and every zone has its state of completion. The Trede District is about 45 percent completed as of September, the Kpeve hospital project is also far advanced. The one at Garo has also reached roofing level”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV.
Adding that there are about 257 total number of contractors- with 10 percent mobilization they are working with.
He added that this is the first time in the history of Ghana that a government has embarked on such a massive health infrastructure project- stressing that the Government is not being selective but very much interested in the health and wellbeing of Ghanaians.
