Sanitation service provider, Zoomlion has disclosed that the sanitation industry is not lacking behind as far as the digitalization agenda of Ghana is concerned, as the collection of refuse has been digitalized.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show, Zone Manager for Zoomlion Ghana, Ricky Anokye Frimpong said that the distribution of the 1 million bins into households for the effective and proper disposing of refusing has gone beyond the regular bins which are usually used.
“We are not only distributing the One Million bins- but we have attached what we call the RF1D devices and therefore we are able to monitor and track these bins, to the extent of telling who the bin belongs to. So,for example if we distributed it to Dzorwulu and you’ve relocated to Shiashie, we are able to tell that the bin has been relocated”, he said.
Adding that “the interesting aspect of it is that at the end of the month it will generate an invoice fo0r you to know what you’re expected to pay”.
He further urged Ghanaians to get these bins so that we could keep our environments clean
