Akrofuom Member of Parliament (MP), Hon Alex Blankson, has said MP’s must be resourced in the various constituencies to work assiduously as part of breaking the 8 agenda.
He said this when he joined Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on Monday 3rd October, 2022.
Speaking he said that ‘’government has its own structures in building the economy, and also to put the party in the limelight, however MP’s must also play their role. Attention must be shifted to all of them, they need to be resourced so they can get to the people- that is one of the best strategies we can deploy to break the 8. Yes research can determine whether things are going on well or not in a particular constituency, but paying critical attention to majority of them is best. If we are able to do that, it will marvel us the votes we will garner. The truth is every MP knows what goes on in the constituency’’.
He stressed that elections are won at the constituency therefore MP’s must be resourced with all significant resources for the betterment of their constituencies to ensure the party breaks the 8.
