The Member of Parliament for Afrokrom, Honourable Alex Blankson has hinted that the NPP will break the eight in his constituency.
According to him, not only will the party just break the eight, but will do so with a wide margin.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV he said that “Breaking the eight in Akrofom will happen and it’s not just about breaking the eight, but also widening the margin. In the last elections NPP had 50% of the total votes in the constituency whiles NDC had 40%. We will definitely raise the bar in 2024”.
Adding that it wouldn’t be a walk in the park for that to happen though.
“The job isn’t easy as it may seem to be. I would have to use about three to four days whenever I want to tour my constituency- therefore one cannot compare what is happening in the cities to the villages like my constituency”, he added.
He however urged that in order to break the eight, the Members of Parliament, must be resourced.
