65year old Rejoice Ejokuku, has made claims of the forestry commission allegedly hoarding and refusing to pay her salary for over a year.
Speaking on Wontumi Nka Wasem today, 4th October, 2022, Rebecca narrated that she began working with the forestry commission in 2018, precisely with the green Ghana project team and was in charge of watering new plants. According to the 65year old, her salary ceased mid year in 2020 while her colleagues continued to receive theirs.
Rejoice upon querying her bosses in charge of the salary, she was told the forestry commission system declines her each time her details were put in due to her age. Contrary to that, Rebecca claimed some of her colleagues were older than her. After being tossed severally and failed attempts to retrieve her money, she finally resorted to the Wontumi Nka Wasem team for assistance.
