A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kafui Amegah has said that the NPP has got better things to be dealing with and not to be responding to allegations from the NDC.
According to him, these allegations are tactical means to divert attention from the numerous good projects the government is executing.
He told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show that “so, until when will the NDC sit to learn sense that Ghanaians have moved from the stage where they thought we had short memories? They have decided to stage throwing their tantrums on social media”.
This comes after the Minority in Parliament had alleged that the Akuffo-Addo/Bawumia led Government has refused to account for over $100Million accruing from Ghana’s Petroleum lifting in the first quarter of 2022.
Mr. Kafui stressed that he was expecting to see documents backing this allegation. However, it’s been six days and the NDC has still not been able to prove that. “They thought the sector minister would be responding to their allegations. We have got better things to do. The lies by the NDC just to make the government unpopular cannot hold water”.
