The formal deputy National Communications Officer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Madam Joyce Zimpare, has questioned why Ghana has allowed foreigners which she described as aligns to determine our fate when it comes to the dollar rate.
The Ghana cedi has been suffering due to the high dollar rate.
Speaking on the cedi-dollar saga, Madam Joyce Dampare said that ‘’we are in Ghana country yet we have allowed aligns to determine our dollar rate which shouldn’t be the case. Today, everything is restricted to dollar- we call on stakeholders to come together and look at the strategies that will best work for us’’.
She added that Ghana cannot fight the dollarization if we don’t rise against the black market and trading in dollars in Ghana.
