Ghanaians Are Not Being Fair With President Akufo-Addo- Deputy Trade Minister Says

The deputy Minister for Trade and Industry who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for New Juaben South, Hon Michael Okyere Baafi, has stated Ghanaians are not being fair with President Akufo-Addo.

Speaking with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning Show Hon Okyere said that ”what President Akufo-Addo has done for Ghanaians is unprecedented. Talk of the free SHS policy-it  has given underprivileged students the chance to go to school, the  1 district 1 factory, roads and  interchanges. We have done so well to the extent that Pokuase interchange is the second biggest interchange in Africa”.

”Government took care of Ghanaians during covid-19 by providing free light, water, food and funds for businesses- this has never happened in the history of Ghana’s politics. Ghanaians are not being fair to the President and government. If Ghana was left in the hands of former President Mahama parents would have sold their children to feed. Even in this difficult times, President Akufo-Addo last week at Labadi beach hotel, told Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) boss to give young entrepreneurs free grants to work, and with all these people are still saying President Akufo-Addo has not done anything for the country?- they do not understand Ghana’s political system”, he stated.

He added that Ghanaians inability to quantify the services provided by President Akufo-Addo is the cause of the numerous accusations.
