Dr Frank Bannor, an Economist, has said that loosing election 2024 is a decision that lies solely on the ruling New Patriotic Party.
He said this whilst analyzing the Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) report on the election 2024 on Movement TV.
He opines that if the incumbent government addresses the critical areas that were highlighted in the report, they will be able to maintain power and continue with their developmental policies.
“If any country will develop, policies play very instrumental role. We should have sound economic policies; the policies that permeate into the future and not necessary to win elections. It is very critical we focus on the future”, he said.
He urged Ghanaians to analyze political parties based on policies and pay particular attention to the ones that are geared towards development.
“As an economist, I never agreed to going to IMF because it only puts the country in dept. Developing internal economic solution is the way to go” he pointed out
Dr. Bannor applauded NPP for their decision to set up offices at the district level to help solve micro issues that involves the grass root members.
He commended Ghana and the NPP led government for effectively managing the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The government must take the necessary steps to retain power”, he added.
