An aspiring Central regional Assistant Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), CK Odoom, has mocked the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for not having a flagbearer for impending 2024 election, aside former president John Mahama.
Adding his voice to the EIU research findings, he indicated that the NDC presented President Mahama in 2016 and lost the election by over a million votes and in 2020, lost by over five hundred thousand votes- indicating the high possibility of losing the 2024 election with him as their flagbearer.
He said, “For NPP to break the eight and regain lost parliamentary seats, the party must address concerns by aggrieved foot soldiers. We need people who can help the party to break the eight”.
He stressed that the people who will be elected at the constituency level, should be able to contribute in breaking the eight.
