Take Advantage Of ‘Youstart’ And Become Financially Independent- NEIP CEO Charges Youth

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Program (NEIP) Dr. Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has charged the youth to take ownership of the Youstart programme, for them to become the next big millionaires.

He noted that it is a direct investment Government is making in their future to enable them to implement the enterprising business ideas they have but cannot implement because they lack capital, access to market and funding.

Speaking with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show, he noted that “it will be fulfilling to have the next big millionaires in Ghana sharing their story and giving credit to the YouStart initiative as the beginning of their upliftment”.

He equally charged them to be proactive and develop an entrepreneurial mindset to create value for money and make them financially independent.

Adding that salaries alone cannot sustain the socio-economic expenditure of the citizenry and encouraged all to have other sources of income to meet the rising expenditure pattern of the individual.

The YouStart programme, he stated, would support young graduates, school leavers and small businesses with soft loans of up to GHS 50,000 to expand their enterprises.
