Asiedu Nketia’s Leaked Audio: Mahama Must Apologize For Deceiving Ghanaians- Alhaji Fofana

The government’s spokesperson on social services, Alhaji Yusif Fofana has said that former President John Dramani Mahama must apologized for deceiving Ghanaians that they had won the 2020 elections.

This comes after an alleged audio tape of Asiedu Nketia has leaked online where he was heard saying that although they knew Nana Addo hadn’t won, they also didn’t have any records to back their allegations.

Alhaji Fofana told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio that the NDC’s had wasted the time of Ghanaians and must be made to pay for it.

“They’ve wasted the time of Ghanaians, and this is a bad thing to have done. The truth of the matter is, but for the peace-loving citizens we have in this country, what the NDC did could have turned the country into something else. Had this happened in a different country, you would have seen what would have happened. John Mahama must be dealt with severally for him to apologize that he had won the 2020 elections”.

“So, the NDC knew right from the onset that they had lost the elections, yet they threw their waist about spewing lies that they’ve been cheated on. If you listen to Asiedu Nketia’s leaked audio tape, you will realize he said that they’ve affiliated parties across the world and that they will be helping them set up their IT machinery. It must be put on record that the NDC were prepared for both elections 2016 and 2020”, he added.

According to him, there’s no way the NDC could beat the NPP in a general election- stressing that they thought the Electoral Commission (EC), should have helped them win the elections.
