Deputy director of communication for the New Patriotic Party, Ernest Owusu Bempah, has called on Ghanaians to stop nagging, and focus on the benefits of American rapper, Meek Mill’s visit to Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Movement In The Morning, with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Owusu Bempah said Ghanaians should focus on the amount of money he has spent during his visit, and its massive benefit it will be to the economy.
According to him Ghanaians are always full of complaints regarding the instability of the economy, and hence advised Ghanaians to see the positive side of the rapper’s visit, as it will serve as an add up to things that will contribute to the betterment of the economy.
He said ”Have Ghanaians considered the cost of Meek Mill coming from the airport to the hotel, and the amount that is going to go into the Ghanaian economy. That is where we should look at. We are full of complains with regards to the hardship we face due to the the instability of the economy and cedi depreciation, and these and are some of the things that can change the Ghanaian economy and extend its share to the ordinary Ghanaian.”
