The Member of Parliament for Bantama constituency, Honourable Francis Asenso-Boakye has announced the construction of a new bridge at Atafoa in his constituency.
Taking to social media to announce the good news, he noted that the approval had been given by the Minister for Roads and Highways for the construction of not just the bridge but also for the rehabilitation of the road from Atafoa to Amanfrom.
“This morning, I am happy to announce that the Ministry of Roads and Highways, led by its hardworking Minister, Hon Kwasi Amoako-Atta has given approval for the construction of a new bridge at Atafoa and the rehabilitation of the road from Atafoa to Amanfrom in the short term and in long term, continue from Amanfrom to Offinso”, he said.
However, he explained that procurement processes are currently ongoing for the selection of a contractor to commence construction of the project- noting that this and many other developmental projects will be high on his agenda this year.
“To my fellow constituents and loved ones, I humbly ask for your continued support, and also pray for divine grace and mercies in all our endeavors”, he stressed.
