The Municipal Chief Executive of Ga West Assembly, Honourable Clement Wilkson has stated that the NDC has made elections 2024 easy for the NPP.
Speaking with Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio, the MCE said that the only reason for which the NDC had given the minority leadership to the Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson is because they would want him to contest as an unopposed candidate in his constituency, because there’s no way the former could debate better than the Haruna Iddrisu.
According to him, the NDC wants someone who could challenge and battle the Vice President on matters relating to the economy.
“They needed somebody who could rub shoulders with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, because they know that he’s definitely going to be the flagbearer for the NPP- but they’ve failed because there was no way he could rub shoulders with the Vice President, when it comes to matters of the economy”, he said.
Stressing that if that’s the best way they think they could challenge the economic policies of Dr. Bawumia and the NPP, then they’ve failed and are therefore making things easier for the NPP.
