Don’t Believe Mahama’s Sweet Lies- Adomako Baafi (VIDEO)

Former National Communications officer for the New Patriotic Party, Yaw  Adomako Baafi, has cautioned Ghanaians against the sweet lies of ex-President Mahama.

John Mahama on the ticket of the  New Democratic Congress (NDC) contested the 2016 and 2020 elections and lost to the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He has been in opposition for two terms and currently hoping for a comeback in 2024.

The Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) recently reported that the NDC will lose election in 2024 with Mahama as flagbearer, however, on the 2nd of May, 2022, ex-President Mahama gave a presentation on the theme “Ghana at a crossroad’’ where he said that he will repeal the electronic levy tax come 2025.

Dr. Adomako Baafi commenting on John Mahama’s statement said ‘’Amid Covid- 19 when the private sectors were laying off workers, no employee in the government sector was sent home. For one year and beyond everyone got paid. Government-provided free light and water and the free SHS policy was still running smoothly. During the outbreak of Cholera in the era of ex-Prez Mahama, he did not offer Ghanaians even a cup of water. No one should believe his sweet lies’’.

“NDC promised in their 2008 manifesto that they would curb unemployment when they assume power but when  they were asked about the jobs he promised he said he was not a magician”, he said.

He indicated that the same John Mahama  who enjoyed  free education now says free SHS is “bogos and it will collapse the Senior High School Educational system”.

He added that during the 39th Celebration of the  June 4th in Madina the late President Jerry John Rawlings once said that the NDC’s  are fond of lying.
