Like It Or Not, Ghana’s Enonomy Is Growing Rapidly- Chairman Omari Wadie (VIDEO)

Third Vice Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Omari Wadie, has said that Ghana’s economy is growing at a fast pace after Covid-19.

He said this during an interview on Movement TV’s political morning show “Movement In The Morning” when he was making his input on Ghana’s economic ranking in Africa.

‘’The current economy is better than the past, far better than the National Democratic Congress (NDC) era. After Independence, over half of the years were ruled by the NDC, yet they have the mouth to say we have bad roads and water when they were in power for most of the time. We are now one of the fastest economies in the world, thanks to the NPP-led administration’’, he said.

Today 1 district 1 factory is boosting the agricultural sector and You-start will create more jobs and train people with capital. We sit here in pride because Ghana’s economy is working again’’, Chairman Omari Wadie added.

He admonished Ghanaians to take advantage of the You-Start Initiative.

World Bank reports that Ghana’s economy is projected to remain relatively strong over the medium term, supported by higher prices for key exports and strong domestic demand. Growth is projected to reach 5.5% in 2022 and average 5.3% over 2022. Growth is expected to be broad-based led by agriculture and services and a relatively stronger industry sector.

Ghana was recently ranked the 8th richest country in Africa according to the world population group
