“I don’t want to eat, I don’t want to talk, I don’t want to sleep, I don’t want to do nothing…” says Christian Atsu’s wife, Marie-Claire Rupio
The late footballer was one of the thousands that lost their lives in the tragic earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria on February 6.
Marie who has three kids with Atsu responding to messages and calls wondering if she’s ok said: “I’m not but I’m trying to be strong. I have three kids, they need me. I don’t want to eat, I don’t want to talk, I don’t want to sleep, I don’t want to do nothing; I just want to be there with him but life goes on…it hurts so much but I’m trying and I’ll be strong for my kids. I miss him, I miss him so much…”
Meanwhile, the mortal remains of Ghanaian international, Christian Atsu, arrived in Ghana on Sunday evening.
The remains was accompanied by his twin sister and elder brother and Ghana’s Ambassador to Turkiye on a Turkish airlines flight.
