Communications specialist at the Presidency, Lady Vera Wiredu has said that the NDC has interest in spewing lies just for Ghanaians to develop hatred for the NPP.
According to her, although the NPP are better managers of the economy and have proven that over time, the NDC deliberately find a way to paint a bad picture of the NPP in the eyes of the citizenry- and a classic example is what the NPP has been able to achieve and executed despite the global crisis.
Lady Vera said this when she joined the discussion segment on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio
“They (NDC) have tried to deceive Ghanaians to believe whatever they say and as such, some Ghanaians have even vowed never to vote for the NPP again. Meanwhile, due to the socio-economic development of the country, many citizens of the neighboring countries are trooping into Ghana, because we are living better than they are,” she said.
She stressed that although the economic crisis is not peculiar to Ghana only, the NPP had always ensure that its policies are pro-poor, to in order to better the livelihood of the citizenry and examples of those policies, are the free maternal healthcare, School feeding program, free SHS, the health insurance among others.
“Because the party was birthed out of coup, they have never believed in democracy. They are only coming to make matter worse as they have always done. Hence, the reason they want to come back,” she said.
