Former Member of Parliament for Ekumfi, Honourable Francis Kingsley Cudjoe, has challenged former President Mahama to tell what legacy and policies he implemented for which Ghanaians should vote for him again.
According to him, Mahama has no policies to campaign and convince Ghanaians to vote for him in the upcoming 2024 elections.
He told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio that unlike the NPP which could boast of several interventions like the free SHS, National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), among others, the NDC cannot mention any.
“If he wants to come back then he should tell us what he was able to achieve right from his days as Vice President, till he later became President. Meanwhile, during his tenure he cancelled the benefits of the NHIS, collapsed the nursing and teacher training allowances”, he said.
“How do we vote for such a person to lead us again as President”, he asked.
He stressed that even with the construction of the E-blocks that the NDC introduced, they were only able to construct twenty-six (26), but the NPP has done close to forty- nine (49).
What legacy at all does he have for which Ghanaians would vote him in again power. He should tell us what single policy he could be remembered for as a former President.
He indicated that the only thing he will be remembered for is that he shared sanitary pads.
“However, kind courtesy One district One Factory (1D1F), today indigenes of Ekumfi have a factory- and this is history because we’ve never had any factory before. Over Five Thousand (5000) people have been employed working in the factory”, he furthered.
He added that Ghana has seen a major expansion of its economy.
