Member of the communication team for the New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Marfo Gyasi, has termed former President John Dramani Mahama’s recent strategy of playing politics as emotional.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Kwabena Marfo backlashed former President John Mahama for being sentimental and emotional in his way of playing politics. According to Mr Marfo, there is no tangible reason backing his intention to remove ex-gratia should he come back to power.
” Kwaku i ask myself that so what time did it dawn on our former President John Dramani Mahama, that Ex-gratia is something that is to the disadvantage of the country, that he has to omit it. This man i am talking about has had the opportunity to serve the country on several positions. He has served as a member of parliament, deputy minister, Vice President and President. Maybe he didn’t have the opportunity to remove ex-gratia before he became President, but let me ask, why didn’t he remove it when he became President.
Every Ghanaian listening to me would bare with me, if i say John Mahama is doing something called emotional politics, in the sense that he speaks on every issue because he sees and hears everyone talking about it,” he stated.
