NDC Has Never Won Elections At The Universities Because No Literate Wants The Party- Awal Mohammed

A communications Team member for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Awal Mohammed has stated that there’s no literate that will join the NDC as a member.

Buttressing his assertion, he noted that elections result over the years from universities is a clear indication that the literates never associate themselves with NDC, because the NDC always record low votes from the universities.

“The youth of this country always vote for the NPP. When you compare election results from the universities, you will realize that the students never vote for the NDC because they know the kind of people they are. They know that the NPP is the only party with policies and vision that resonates with theirs”, he spoke on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio.

This comes after the NDC had levelled several allegations against the Electoral Commission (EC) and the National Identification Authority (NIA), accusing them of conniving to disenfranchise eligible Ghanaians from voting.

“I’m surprised the NDC is rather complaining of disenfranchisement. They are crying more than the bereaved. Because the NPP is likely to be affected more than the NPP should many Ghanaians be denied their Ghana cards”, he said.

He stressed that the NDC perfectly knows they will be losing the elections and therefore, would want to do everything possible to ensure that they tarnish the image of the NPP.

“They have no alternative. They have been able to proffers solutions all they can do better is to spew lies”, he added.
