The NDC MPs Who Recorded Their Votes With Camera Are Shameless- Sir. Obama

A Political activist and social media commentator for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sir Obama Pokuase has described Member of Parliament for Tamale Central as a shame.

This comes after the lawmaker had recorded himself whiles casting a secret ballot in Parliament last Friday.

According to Sir Obama, the action of the lawmaker is unconstitutional, illegal and against the laws of the country.

“All the NDC MPs who recorded themselves have violated article 49 of the 1992 constitution and order 209 of the standing orders of the august house and they must be made to face the full rigors of the law- stressing that their actions would give others the chance to do same during the 2024 elections”, he said.

Adding that the MPs includes the lawmaker for Tamale Central, Murtala Ibrahim Mohammed, Member of Parliament for Korle Klottey- Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings, MP for Ketu South-Abla Dzifa Gomashie were the MPs who tried to show prove that indeed they complied with the directive from their party (NDC).

This comes after they had petitioned Parliament to sermon the Members of Parliament, in order to set a good example.
