Deputy Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Asiedu Kokuro, has cautioned the National Democratic Congress that NPP is ready for them if they are preparing for war.
Speaking in an interview on Movement In The Morning, with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Asiedu Kokuro sent a stern warning to the NDC that the NPP is well prepared and ready to face them, if their desperation to resume parliament is causing them to prepare for war and pandemonium.
He stated that ”Some of the people doing this civil society organisations are not sharp in this country, and people don’t get it when i talk about it. Do you know why, the NDC in 2020 after the elections were not able to collate their results, but rejected the results of the electoral commission and had the effrontery to go to court, and when they were asked to present their result they failed to because they said they couldn’t collate it.
These are the people who called their people to demonstrate across the country just to cause pandemonium, and had it not been for the fact that we have a strong democracy and security agencies, they would have thwarted this democracy over us. Some of the NDC members do not have good intentions. The leadership of the NDC are planning to cause chaos in the next elections and we will not sit down, so we need to let them know that if they are preparing for war, we are waiting for them.”
