A deputy director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Asiedu Kokro has stated that no government has been able to build more than hundred factories if not for Akufo-Addo’s government.
He categorically stated that even under Nkrumah’s regime, he couldn’t build more hundred factories like President Akufo-Addo has built under the One District One Factory initiative.
He told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio that the NPP government has currently completed One hundred and four factories (104)- adding that more than One Thousand and Thirty (1030) of the projects are in various stages of completion making up about Two Hundred factories (200) established by the NPP government.
“It’s about leadership, deliberate and transformational policy and not about throwing tantrums. Mahama should tell Ghanaians the transformational policies he will implement if he’s elected. In any case, we are not afraid of the NDCs”, he said.
He furthered that the NPP is winning elections 2024 due to the kind of policies and initiatives the NPP government had initiated.
“Even if we have no campaign message, the free SHS policy and infrastructure projects will do the talking for us”, he added.
Speaking on the upcoming national delegates conference, Mr. Kokro noted that the party will ensure a free and fair elections.
