What Have You Left At The Jubilee House?- Owusu-Bempah Questions Mahama

Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah Writes: John Mahama’s Legacy Of Corruption Rages On

A deputy director of communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu-Bempah, has said expressed disappointment over utterances made by former President Mahama.

He expressed shock over lawyers of the NDC for petitioning the Ghana Police Service to invite Food and Agriculture minister, Bryan Acheampong over comments he made.

Mr. Owusu-Bempah questioned why they were quick to have reported the lawmaker when former President Mahama and National Chairman of the NDC, Asiedu Nketia have made inciteful and treasonable comments in the past.

“The lawyers of the NDC do not really understand the law”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio.

Adding that no former President has ever spoken like Mahama has done. “Nobody with the pedigree of former President will talk like he does. If Mahama could pass treason comments and nothing was done to him, what effrontery does the NDC has to call for the arrest of Bryan Acheampong for what he said”.

Stressing that the comments by the former President saying that the NDC are best at unleashing violence because they were born out from revolution could destroy the democracy of Ghana- adding that it’s an upfront to the constitution of Ghana.

In any case, what Bryan Acheampong said was in response to Asiedu Nketia and former President Mahama’s inciteful comments.

“We are therefore calling on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to invite Asiedu Nketia and find out from him what exactly he meant when he said that the party would even resort to sacrificing lives in order to gain power”, Owusu-Bempah stressed.

In conclusion he asked what exactly the former President wants to take from the Jubilee house, hence the reason he’s so desperate for power- even after Ghanaians have outrightly voted against him twice.
