Deputy Director of communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), George Krobea Asante, has said that no machination and plot to make the government unpopular will become successful.
According to him, there are a lot of appointees of the current government who have become bitter because they no longer hold certain positions, and as such, have resorted to lies and made government officials their target.
“They have decided to make the government their target and they are doing everything humanly to ensure that they bring this government down. By foul, lies and mischievous means, but I want to tell them that they are not going to succeed”, he spoke on Movement TV.
Adding that there are some personalities in this country who can never be denigrated. citing Sammy Awuku, Bryan Acheampong (MP), Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah as examples.
“Whatever machination or attempt to disgrace them will not survive. For they know where they are coming from and where they are going. With that said, they are human beings, they can make errors, and mistakes, but for someone to sit at his corner elsewhere and spew lies about them wouldn’t hold water”, he jabbed.
He urged Information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah not to be discouraged by the happenings.
He furthered that there are some members of the government who never got to enjoy the benefit Prof. Frimpong Boateng had enjoyed since the party came into power in 2016.
“There are others who worked harder than him- sacrificed their resources for the party more than he did but not all of them had the opportunity to even become a minister of state like he got”, he fumed.
