”Some People Planned It To Cause Loot And Share”- Adenta Kumi On Dumsor Saga

Member of the communication team for the New Patriotic Party, Alfred Adenta Kumi, has revealed that the dumsor saga was planned by some people to cause loot and share.

Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Adenta Kumi exasperatedly expressed his reservation regarding the persistent, irregular, and unpredictable electric power outage locally termed as dumsor, during ex President Mahama’s term in office.

According to him investigation is underway and will come out with findings soon.

In response to NDCs intention of buying a gallon of water at a fee of gh5 from the plant former President Mahama built, and selling it to citizens at gh5 or gh5.50 to recover loss or make profit, he said ”it will not help us so in the interest of the good people of Ghana, we realised when we came into power that these are the things we need to renegotiate. I remember some time ago when we wanted to negotiate, NDCs canceled the agreement, they made a lot of noise. It is causing more harm than good because money worth 12billion which could be used to construct roads have been misused.

We need to cry for the President and Finance minister because we have worked hard alright, but every time school feeding program women are always crying to us so if there’s any new money, government should help us, not knowing the money we were supposed to use in assisting the citizens was being used to finance an unnecessary agreement John Mahama had. I remember a judgement passed by a judge which he said this is a loot and share. So i can deduce that the dumsor we went in was planned by some people to create loot and share, and i am investigating, i’ll let Ghanaians know when i’m done.”
