A deputy director of communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Owusu Queen has advised electorates of Assin North never to vote for Gyakye Quayson.
She said that they vote for him at their own peril- because he has one leg already in prison, as he’s standing trial in court.
She told the NDC and Mahama to stop blaming the NPP for the ineffectiveness of Gyakye Quayson, when he was the MP for Assin North.
According to him, it will be better for the NDC to tell constituents of Assin North the truth than to tell such a blatant lie, when they know James Quayson had defy the laws of the country.
“It’s about time we let residents of Assin North know that if the NDC says it’s because of NPP that Gyakye Quayson wasn’t able to discharge his duties fully as a Member of Parliament, its false. The NPP has done nothing wrong to him- he’s in confrontation with the law because he thought he could have gone scoot free even after defying the law”, she spoke to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV.
“If you need a Member of Parliament, who could lobby for development into the constituency- someone who could help improve upon your livelihood in the constituency, then don’t ever make a mistake of choosing someone who is standing trial in court. Even as we speak, he will be in court today. You need someone whom you could always meet and see not someone you would have to search for him court”, she stressed.
