The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boaisako, has revealed that he has crosschecked from the records of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and can boldly confirm that James Gyakye Quayson doesn’t even own a “lotto kiosk” at Assin North.
“I called Sammi Awuku, he is the Director of Ghana lotteries and I asked him if their records show that Gyakye Quayson has a lotto kiosk at Assin North and he said no. Such a person can’t him the people of Assin North so on Tuesday I expect you to vote for Charles Opoku”, the NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi said.
Chairman Wontumi made the above comment at Assin Breku during a massive victory rally for Charles Opoku.
He ended by stating that just as the NPP won the Kumawu by-election, they would win the Assin North seat as well.
