Deputy Director of protocol for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Frimpong has commended the National Chairman and General Secretary for what he described as yeoman’s job, in unifying the party.
He noted that God chose the duo for the party at such a crucial time, and they’ve been very instrumental in the party, in the run up to the 2024 general election.
“I always say God knows the reason for which these two (National Chairman, Stephen Ntim and General Secretary, Justine Koduah Frimpong) were elected for the party at this time…because if you look at what they have been able to do which includes the measures they’ve implemented is a clear indication that they are bent on uniting this party going into 2024 elections”, he said on Movement In The Morning Show on Movement TV.
He noted that prior to a meeting which was held by the National Executive Council, they were heated trading of insults among the flagbearer hopefuls and their supporters which were resulting into division. However, after the duo stepped in, now there seems to be peace and calm among the aspirants and their supporters.
“We no longer hear the jabs they were throwing among themselves…. what we need to know is that anytime UP tradition is united, we win an election. Let’s be united for elections 2024”, he told supporters of the NPP.
