Aspiring parliamentary candidate for New Juaben North, Philip Twum Yeboah has told Presidential aspirants of the party to have in mind that the main focus of the party is to win the 2024 elections.
Thus, they should do away with their differences, the trading of insults among other things in their bid to win the flagbearership race.
This, he noted that will go against the fortunes of the party in the 2024 elections.
“Although we will have our preferred candidate, if the outcomes turn to be otherwise, whoever the party chooses for the election, some of us will use our resoruces, strength to camapign for the party to break-the-eight year jinx and that is our focus”, he said on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.
Adding that the victory of the party in the 2024 elections is the prime focus and that the party will adopt every legitimate way to ensure that the dream is materialized.
“We shouldn’t deceive ourselves…let’s remain honest to ourselves…My preferred candidate is Kennedy Agyapong and I can tell you that he’s going to throw his weight behind whoever that wins aside from him…When he wins too, Dr. Bawumia will be one of the key people in his government…”, he said.
“We are one party…let’s remain focus so we can break-the-eight and that is the ultimate goal”, he concluded.
