Former first lady Lordina Mahama had to be arrested in London for going on a £1 million shopping spree at Selfridges to buy designer handbags, Chairman Wontumi has said.
The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stated in an interview on Wontumi TV that Mrs Lordina Mahama had to be detained by authorities in London for carrying £1 Million on her just for shopping.
“Lordina Mahama took £1 million to Selfridges to shop for bags at London. She was stopped by the authorities there and they had to investigate her well. It was through that they found out that her husband was the President of Ghana”, Chairman Wontumi said.
Another person who played a key role during former President John Mahama administration was Victoria Hammah. She was also caught on tape saying that Victoria Hammah.
Her reason was that “If you have money then you can control people”.
