Wontumi Nka Wasem, a social program that airs on Movement TV is set to lodge complaint at DOVVSU on behalf of lady who identifies herself as Dorcas.
According to her, her boyfriend whom she has 3 children with dumped her after 17 years and has made way with her GHC2800.
Narrating her story Dorcas said, “I have been with Ababio for 17 years and we have three children together. He travelled to Qatar while we were together. He took the money we made from outdooring our kids and my personal money saying he was going to save at the bank twelve years ago and till date I don’t know the whereabout of the money”.
She added, “I was living with him in their family house till he travelled and her sister took me to the Domestic Violence And Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) to eject me from the house saying I was not married to her brother, I do not properly care for the children and also do not respect her. The woman at DOVVSU said I could not stay in the house because I was a mere baby mama and she made my baby daddy rent a house for myself and the kids for two years’’.
She stated that the man stopped sending money to her directly and was rather sending through his sister on the basis that she was using the monthly money of 700 cedis to cater for herself.
”For two years, I was only taking care of the kids without having direct access to their money”, she indicated.
Dorcas is requesting for her 2800 cedis plus twelve years interest.
Councellor Lutterott and Maame Dufie together with the producer, Oheneba Kingsley will be filing a case at DOVVISU on behalf of Dorcas.
