As a common photographer who now owns a mansion at Airport Hills, it tells you how Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has benefited immensely from supporting coup d’etat and not a democratic government.
His latest call for a social explosion in Ghana has attracted a former Communication Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi to blast him and label him as someone who speaks anyhow without reasoning.
Mr. Yaw Adomako Baafi stated on Wontumi TV that he is disappointed Mr. Ofosu Ampofo who is an Elder at the Church of Pentecost could calling for a social explosion similar to the coup d’etat comments other members of the NDC are calling for.
But Mr. Baafi was quick to add that it least came to him as surprise hearing Ofosu Ampofo’s statement because he (Ampofo) is a direct “beneficiary of coup. He was a common photographer and as local government minister, we know what happened at Sekyere Afram Plains under his leadership.”

Prior to this, Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo was captured on the tape planning an attack on individuals including the Electoral Commission (EC) chair and the Chairman of the National Peace Council among others.
Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo is heard clearly in the audio saying that “the EC chair, we must wage a relentless war against her. We need to take her to the cleaners.”
He is also heard saying, “We will go after them. We will not go after them face to face. We will target some people to make them feel their lives are in danger.
“We should also not spare the CSOs and religious groups. Especially the peace council chairman. For the first time I will endorse insults”.
