UTV! ‘Yesu Mogya Nka Wanim’- Frances Asiam Talks Tough On Regime Changing Agenda

In an attempt to cast the demons out of UTV, Frances Asiam has used the popular phrase ‘Yesu mogya nka UTV wanim’ to establish her displeasure at attempts by the TV channel to become regime changers using their United Showbiz platform.

Speaking on the Ghana Nti show which airs on Wontumi Radio, Accra, Frances Asiam explained that she has been taking note of moves by UTV to become “regime changers” by using political activists such as Kwame A-Plus and Bulldog with the help of Fadda Dickson.

“You allow people to disrespect the President, UTV ‘Yesu Mogya Nka Wanim’ and make you fail if you want to be regime changers”, Frances Asiam told show host Isaac Oteng on Wontumi radion monitored by Movementtvonline.com.

Her comments comes on the heels of a sacrilege act which was aired on UTV when an official letter addressed to Fadda Dickson by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was tore apart live on TV by A-Plus who is just a panel member and not an employee of the station.

A-Plus a regular panelist on the entertainment show disrespected all members of the NPP by tearing apart an official letter written by the National executives of the party to the managers of the station.

According to the NPP, the programme has become political.

A Plus, in reaction, said the letter was against the independence of the media and went on to rip the letter saying: “This letter is revolting because we have received calls from people threatening to collapse UTV United Showbiz”.
