A communications specialist at the Office of the Chief of Staff, Lady Vera Wiredu, has challenged Prof. Frimpong Boateng to provide evidence to his concubines’ government allegation.
Using herself as an example, she noted that she never occupied her current position because she was a concubine, family and friend to anybody in government. However, she obtained her job due to how hardworking and dedicated she is to her job.
She made this known during the newspaper review on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio.
This comes after the former Environment, Science and Technology Minister, Prof. Frimpong Boateng had alleged that the current government have strayed from their commitment to national development and instead have delivered a government that is more like a “family, friends, and concubines’ government.”
This, he noted that is a significant deviation from the NPP’s founding principles is concerning.
However, Lady Vera noted that if Prof. Frimpong claims that the government is running a family and friend government, then he (Prof. Frimpong) is also included since he’s/was part of government.
“I’m therefore challenging him to tell us the number of concubines he appointed himself using the powers he has. Likewise telling us which of his concubine appointed him to government. He should provide evidence to his allegations”, Lady Vera said.
