NPP Parliamentary candidate hopeful for Okaikwei North, Maame Afia Akoto has advised party delegates to ensure that they pick the right candidates for the 2024 elections.
She noted that if right Parliamentary candidates are chosen in the various constituencies for the election, it will help maximize the seats of the party in the 2024 elections.
“We can maximize the seats and bring back the love if we select the right candidates. There are a lot of people who are bitter about the bitter due to one thing or the other. Apathy has also set into the party, with some losing hope. However, when we are able to select the preferred candidates both for the Parliamentary and Presidential elections, I’m optimistic that they will help bring back the love, which will in turn help us win back most of our seats and bring the eight-year jinx”, she indicated.
“With the right candidates, we can easily win the love of electorates and maximize votes in constituencies which are not NPP strongholds…likewise choose a right candidate for the Presidential election too”, she stressed.
She further advised NPP supporters who are bitter over certain treatment meted out to them, to forgive and know that they will definitely have a good time if the party continue to remain in power.
