I Will Remain Neutral In The Selection Of The Flagbearer If I Win The Chairmanship Position-Stephen Ntim

An aspiring National Chairman for the New Patriotic party (NPP), Stephen Ntim, says he will remain neutral in the selection of the party’s flag bearer if elected.

Kwabena Frimpong, a spokesperson for chairman Ntim Ayensu’s campaign said this when he joined the discussion ahead  of the National Delegate Conference which is set to take place on 15th July, 2022.

In his submission he said, “Stephen Ntim has said on countless times that he will remain neutral in the selection of the flagbearer.  If he supports one person against the other and the person does not win,  it will be difficult working with the one he did not support therefore, he is ready to work with anyone the party presents as it’s next flagbearer.  The most important thing to him is to unify all the Flagbearers to break the 8. He will remain neutral as the firm and fair person he has always being. As a decisive leader he will work for the betterment of the party’’.

He indicated that if  the party gives Stephen Ntim a flagbearer, he will also give the party a President come 2024- this is not something new, it’s  something he has done before. Stating that the party saw this in 2004.

‘’Stephen Ntim has innovative ideas in terms of the welfare of party members. As the first Vice Chairman, he used to give hampers to the constituency executives and he registered for National Health Insurance Scheme(NHIS) cards for some executives who did not have’’, he added.

He further stated that as part of the mission of his leadership, Chairman Ntim will improve on party- government relationship through effective coordination. Stressing that the things that need to be given to party members will be done rightly and appropriate especially the allocation of jobs and other opportunities.

“Chairman Ntim will build and support the capacity of the various executives and communicators through workshops and training to enhance their technical know-how’’, he added.
