A former communications Director for New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi has stated that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has raised the political bar.
He noted that the Vice President, Dr. Bawumia has been very consistent unlike some Presidential candidates who have been consistently inconsistent.
“Whether you like or hate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, he has raised the political bar in Ghana. Back in the day, looking at President Nana Akufo-Addo, Kwame Addo Kuffour, Yaw Sarfo Marfo etc., they were very polished accomplished politicians. In the time of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, he has been consistent since 2014 till date and does not hide anything. Everything he said during his #Bawumiaspeaks was verifiable”, he said.
Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi spoke to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio.
“The only thing NDC tried to succeed in political communication or in propaganda was to create issues. They wanted to create issues between Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and President Nana Akufo-Addo because they knew in 2008, one of the reasons NPP went into opposition was the perceived conflict between two people. Since then, we have learnt our lessons so well and there’s no way such plots will succeed again”, he added.
