An aspiring National Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah, has advised delegates to weigh all the policies they have been told and decide on what works best for them and the party in the quest to break the eight come 2024.
He said this when he joined the discussion at the Accra Sports Stadium during the 2022 National Annual Delegates Conference.
The outgoing National Treasurer stated that a lot of people believe in his vision so regardless of how he campaigns he will surely win.
“The delegates will decide on who will be elected to occupy the various roles for the next phase. Two things are looked at when choosing a leader; ability to deliver, experience and tried and tested individuals. I don’t fully agree to the scrubbing off of all former executives because we also need the people with historic memory of what has been done in the past and what can be done better in the future’’, he stated.
”I know that the delegates will vote me as their next Chairman because they warmly accepted me and my message. They took their time and asked about my policies and I humbly explained to their understanding”, Abankwah Yeboah added.
He further advised the delegates to vote for the people who will stay neutral in their decision making and eventually help the party break the eight.
