It Will Be Pathetic To Have John Mahama Lead As President- Paul Opoku

Constituency Secretary for NPP in Dome-Kwabenya constituency, Paul Opoku, has described how pathetic it would be to have former President Mahama lead the country.

He buttressed his assertion based on certain utterances and campaign against the free SHS program by former President Mahama and the NDC.

“If you have three children at the secondary school, then you are saving about three thousand Ghana cedis annually due to free SHS. So, imagine Mahama becoming President and the policy is cancelled. Would you be able to afford the Thirty Thousand Ghana cedis (30,000) for the year. Even if you hate NPP, we agree with you but for the future of your children…. for the sake of your children, if you love your children, then never vote for NDC…”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.

“It will be pathetic to have Mahama as President….he’s a confused leader, belonging to a political party that has broadcasted about forty-eight (48) adverts against free SHS…However, after realizing that Ghanaians have embraced the policy and it is helping Ghanaians, he’s pretending to have accepted it”, he added.

He went further to chastise the former President for not paying the allowances for Person with Disability before leaving office.

“It got to a point that former President Mahama mentioned that if he had the resources that was used for free SHS, he would have used it for something else…”, he said.
