Deputy Director of communications for NPP, Jennifer Oforiwaa Queen, has emphatically stated that the NPP government led by President Akufo-Addo will not relent on fulfilling its promises to the citizenry.
She noted that the government is committed to ensuring that every promise is fulfilled, thus, the ongoing road construction across the country.
“Looking at the construction work ongoing with the Ga Municipal Assembly and the extensions at the new estate area is a clear indication that the government is not asleep on the promises made to Ghanaians. This is also a wakeup call to government, that there’s an election to be won and thus, we must ensure we put in place everything that is expected of the government. The Kumasi Airport wasn’t a project we started. However, as we speak, government has completed and commissioned it. We would have halted the continuation of the project, if we were a government of continuity…”, she told Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.
She further disclosed that there current ‘Dumsor’ ongoing is a calculated attempt to make the government unpopular.
“Initially, it was a legacy debt we inherited that we have been able to settle that debt. Not even up to a year and Dumsor is here again. However, let’s not forget that for 5 years, we suffered the brunt effect of dumsor during the NDC’s era”, she added.Â
