A member of the NPP communications team, Kafui Amegah has blamed the energy minister, for making communication on the ongoing power outage difficult for communicators.
According to him, the energy minister is not providing them with any briefing and thus, making their communication a difficult task.
“Businesses are being affected by the dumsor and yet, we are not able to communicate or tell Ghanaians what exactly the problem is. Â People are forced to purchase plants, which they have not budgeted for because they would want to keep their businesses still running, even after buying the plant, prices of fuel is nothing good to write home about. What exactly is the problem…we’ve been told that it’s not a monetary issue…so what exactly is it…”, he asked.Â
He is therefore pleading with the energy ministry to communicate. They shouldn’t leave party communicators in the dark, so that they can know how to communicate to the masses. Hence, it will affect the party’s fortunes in the upcoming general election.
He furthered that its likely someone is deliberately trying to disgrace the government.
