Deputy Director of protocol for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Frimpong, has reminded Vice Presidential candidate of the NDC, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang of her bad legacies, during her tenure as education minister.
This comes after Kwabena Frimpong claimed Prof Jane Naana had thrown jabs at Dr. Bawumia, when she was formally outdoor to the party.
“I laughed when Prof. Naana was throwing shades at Dr. Bawumia during her formal outdooring…. I kept asking myself some questions. Is it because she had soon forgotten about the bad legacies, she left behind. The best she could have said, was to tell Ghanaians that per adventure, she becomes a Vice President, she would want to have Dr. Bawumia as her mentor. However, Grandma decided to throw shades instead”, he said on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.Â
“Grandma was once a Minister, and we knew what happened during her tenure…. even chalks were not provided for teaching…however, kind courtesy of Get fund through the Ministry of Education, schools no longer use chalkboards but instead, markerboards. Mind you, there were a lot of health implications, resulting from the use of chalks. Need we remind Grandma that even registration files to mark attendance of students were not available. Teachers were not provided with booklets for lessons notes. She cancelled allowances for teacher trainees…even capitation grants were in arrears…Those were her legacies and thus, she has no moral right to throw shades at Dr. Bawumia”, he told the host, Kwaku Dawuro.
