John Mahama And His ‘Tired’ Running Mate Are Not Viable Competitors To Dr. Bawumia- Ogyaba

The founder and leader of the United Front Party (UFP), Nana Agyenim Boateng, has made a bold statement about the upcoming presidential election.

In a recent interview, on Oyerepa Radio, monitored by movementtvonline, he confidently declared that John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and his running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, are not a match for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to Gyataba, as he’s widely known, Dr. Bawumia is working tirelessly, despite being the incumbent Vice President, while the opposition seems to be relaxed and complacent.

He believes this disparity in effort and strategy will ultimately materialize the NPP’s slogan ‘Breaking-The-Eight’, but only if the NPP capitalizes on this momentum and strategizes effectively.

Dr. Boateng was blunt in his assessment of Mahama’s abilities, stating that he does not see him as a viable competitor to Dr. Bawumia.

“Anytime Mahama travels, it looks as though the NDC is on holidays. They lack focus and campaign to their campaign. Unlike Dr. Bawumia and the NPP, who are working tirelessly campaigning ahead of the elections”, said.

Dr. Boateng was blunt in his assessment of Mahama’s running mate, Professor Opoku-Agyemang, stating that she is “too old and tired” to effectively complement Mahama’s efforts in the election.

He believes that her advanced age and perceived fatigue would hinder her ability to actively support Mahama on the campaign trail.

“You need a running mate who can be working for you. Look at what Bawumia did in 2016 with his wife Samira. Do you see Prof. Jane doing that…? She’s too old and tired. I’m being realistic. I’m not attacking her integrity. But, she’s tired”, he told the host.

“Mahama and his running mate, are not competitors to Bawumia at all. The running mate that Dr. Bawumia will nominate will add up to the chances of the NPP”, he said.
